Today our Lions Club said thank you to our community for their support of our club and the projects we carry out for the community. At the netball courts at Meadowbank, in addition to our BBQ we mounted displays, met and thanked people and ran a free raffle.
The Christian Community Aid bus was present, showing the wheelchair lifting device that had been funded with money raised from previous netball seasons. Many photos of recent projects were shown to enable customers to understand how widespread Lions’ money is spread to those in need.
This year the Epping Eastwood members are raising money to assist Karonga School at Epping build a music room for their students. Karonga School educates children with special needs and music plays a large part in assisting interaction among students.
